Brief Flooding in Gangnam (Aug. 15, 2012)

The flooding was brief (maybe only 10-15 minutes).

Yangjae Citizens Forest Hike (Aug. 15, 2012)

Holiday (Korean Independence Day) hike...
- Took train from Gangnam to Yangjae Citizens Forest station (only 2 stops)
- Hike through Yangjae Citizens Forest (which is really a city park), then along stream toward Gwacheon City, then a brief stop at the Memorial Hall for the Patroit Maehun Yun Bong-Gil (see photos below)
- Then hike home to Gangnam
- Hiking 3 hrs. 12 min. (no stopping, except for photos)
- The thunderstorms started after the hike was about half-day, so I was soaking wet for the remainder

Hike Yangjae Stream to Han River (Jamsil) to Gangnam (Aug. 11, 2012)

Semi-urban Hike in Seoul.
- Start at Yangjae Citizen's Forest station, hike Yangjae Stream Eco Park to Han River, then along toward Apgujeong and back to Gangnam.
Total hiking time 3 hrs. 10 min. (no stops).
