KNA is located between Namyangju and Pocheon, in Gyeonggi province. Gwangneung Forest surrounds the royal tombs of King Sejo and Queen Jeonghui of the Joseon era. The grounds are strictly managed to preserve its natural habitat and minimizing human disturbance. It has fifteen special gardens for rare mountain plants, a forest museum, and a herbarium.
As a starting point, we met at Cheongnyangni Station and took 2 different buses from there.
